Online Marketing Manager

Our lifestyle and consumer products client is seeking an experienced Online Marketing Manager! This would be a full-time, 3-4 month contract with the possibility of being brought on permanently.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Plan and manage inventory allocation. Make updates per seasonal demand cycles.
- Drive e-commerce revenue through daily website merchandising, conversion rate optimization and strengthening traffic drivers.
- Maintain online content calendar. Implement strategic content updates to branded website pages, maintain seasonal product merchandising, journal entries and general company information.
- Ensure website messaging is aligned with social media channels.
- Facilitate content creation and deployment through brand ambassadors, writers, photographers and other content sources.
- Coordinate direct to consumer marketing tactics including but not limited to social media, email, paid search, SEO and online advertising to support seasonal campaigns.
- Be the interface between offline and online asset management to ensure accurate file management and usage is current with intellectual property licenses.
- Conduct daily site quality control; coordinate solutions through Operations and Website Development teams.
- Maintain website performance scorecard to track performance on daily, monthly and annual basis.
- Generate detail reporting for management reviews.
- Implementation of online tools such as catalogs, newsletters or companywide communication.
- Coordinate asset creation and prepare product samples for photoshoots,
- Work with brand marketing, PR, other departments with consumer marketing initiatives and product launches to ensure cross platform alignment.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Strong understanding of ecommerce marketing, direct-to-consumer business, website analytics
- Ability project manage website design and programming initiatives, strong understanding of website programming and development creative process
- 2-4 years experience in B2C online marketing
-Experience creating, executing and evaluating online marketing campaigns including email, search/SEO, advertising, social media
- Experience with online media buying and campaign analysis
- Experience with social media as a marketing tool
- Proficient in HTML, CCS, Adobe suite with ability to perform basic website programming
- Process oriented and passion for details, finishing projects with a deadline
- Ability to handle multiple projects at once
- Ability to work independently, handle self driven projects efficiently
- Highly organized
- Clear and concise communication skills
- Strong skill using Microsoft Office suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Entourage)
- Strong knowledge in handling digital image files
- Strong understanding of new technologies and how they can be applied to marketing
- Creative and innovative
- Honest, humble, loyal and full of integrity
- Ability to take direction and work autonomously
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Love and knowledge of the ocean lifestyle

Requirements for the position:

- Good project management skills.
-Sound knowledge of marketing principles.
-Time management, fixing priorities, organizing skills, attentiveness, accuracy in performance.
-Effective presentation of information and strong verbal and written communication skills for responding to questions from internal teams, sales reps, retailers and the general public.
-Strong knowledge of footwear market, including knowledge of competitors, type of consumers and retailers.
-Ability to establish good relations with all levels of employees.
-Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, information technology or marketing.
-Diploma from an accredited university.
