Online Marketing Manager

Our financial services client located south of Boston is looking for an Online Marketing Manger to join their team for a 10-month contract.

This position will own the day-to-day management of web site content and functionality upgrade projects which support monthly advertising campaigns, new product releases, and enterprise-wide web channel upgrades.
• Candidate should have strong web project management skills.
• Preferred candidates will have 7-10 years experience in one or more of the following web specialty areas:
• Usability, web analytics (preferably WebTrends), web information architecture, web development, web design, personas, developing user journeys, A/B or multivariate testing, developing web content strategies, or online banking product management.
• Additional responsibilities include participation in pre-project business case development as well as post-project analysis, measurement and optimization recommendations.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Participate in business case development, writing, and delivery as well as ROI-projections for web site projects
• Perform project requirements gathering and definition through consultation with SME’s
• Recommend and validate Information Architecture including site map, page flow, navigation architecture, wire frames, usability studies, analysis and findings
• Perform web analytics and results analysis
• Develop new/improved processes for initiating web projects, managing web projects, web site content audits, and reporting enablement
• Perform competitive analysis
• Collaborate with .Com Operations department to perform development work and post web content
• Provide creative evaluation and adherence to brand standards/ style guide maintenance

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors degree required; BA in Marketing or eCommerce preferred; MBA preferred
• 7 to 10 years in online marketing or ecommerce
• Technical Requirements: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Above-average web knowledge/skills. Experience with e-marketing tactics and tools.
• Additionally Desirable Technical Knowledge: WebTrends web analytics / Interwoven / Visio / Dreamweaver / MS Project / Familiarization with web technology and some HTML
