Online Marketing Manager - B2B

Aquent's client, a Telecommunications giant is seeking an Online Marketing Manager with strong knowledge of B2B web space, specifically, traffic & engagement analysis, content optimization, and online leads/sales. This is a 12 month contract with the possibility of extending for an additional 12 months based on budget and performance.


Drive transformational business web changes:

· Optimize search to maximize traffic
· Deploy personalization
· Optimize site content
· Use web analytics to develop data driven recommendations – marketing and functionality
· Identify & drive online small business solutions

Grow and Optimize Small Business Leads to All Channels:
• Identify industry best practices to maximize online sales leads
• Partner with the agency and web resources to design and deploy an optimized customer experience
• Demonstrate solid knowledge of sales funnel tools, such as, to ensure online leads are handled effectively in internal sales systems
• Establish strong relations with numerous teams, including sales channels, acquisition/GTM B2B marketing, and B2B web teams

Launch Online Sales Solution for New Small Businesses:
• Compile comprehensive customer requirements framework, leveraging best practices in similar small business solutions
• Partner with operational teams to ensure new solution incorporates customer requirements
• Partner with offline teams, such as Finance, Compliance, Legal, and Customer Service to gain business case approvals and establish supporting processes for new small businesses on-boarding electronically

Expand Online Product Sales for Small Businesses:
• Leverage market research to identify & prioritize online needs beyond traditional wireless sales for small business audience
• Scope revenue opportunity and establish roadmap for product expansion, including converged services and more
• Engage with SMB Strategy and Web Operations teams to ensure future products meet customer needs for online procurement and management
• Establish strong working relations with SMB Strategy & Web Operations teams

•5+ years B2B segment marketing experience with demonstrated success in web operations and online sales
•5+ years B2B online experience planning
•5+ years wireless experience desired, not required
•Demonstrated results in identifying & deploying transformational small business web solutions

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
• Strong knowledge of B2B web space, specifically, traffic & engagement analysis, content optimization, and online leads/ sales
• Ability to learn new technology quickly and conduct research to understand both industry trends and customer needs
• Ability to present ideas effectively to individuals or groups and express ideas and information clearly
• Good working knowledge of VZW B2B systems and external marketing automation solutions
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast changing environment, with changing priorities and often with tight time constraints
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
• Ability to effectively communicate with Business, Web Team, and Outside Agency resources
• Superior data analysis skills, with expertise in quantitative/qualitative analysis techniques
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong project management skills (project management certification preferred)
• Ability to facilitate collaborative resolution of issues with a “win-win” approach
• Organized and process oriented
• Strong written and oral communication skills
