Online Marketing Coordinator

Our client  is looking for a marketing assistant to support our daily efforts across email and copy writing. The ideal candidate will have experience in email generation and analytics (ideally with an e-commerce company), as well as customer facing copy writing. They should be a strategic thinker who prioritizes testing and learning to improve email program performance. This person should be diligent about analyzing and reporting on traffic data in support of the Traffic Manager. Additionally, this person should be able to accurately apply the brand voice of the .com to copy across various marketing channels with guidance from manager. Detail orientation, customer obsession, and a can-do attitude with the ability to move nimbly will be key to your success. The marketing assistant must be a passionate advocate for the customer with an eye towards maximizing the customer touch points with email (subject lines, content, landing pages) and should have an interest in merchandising as they will help drive the delivery of a premium end-to-end experience. They will also need to be comfortable learning new web-based tools and demonstrate an ability to pick-up new technology quickly. Candidates will at times have to work with technical teams to troubleshoot email related issues and must be able to understand complex systems. 

This person will be responsible for the following tasks: 
- The online marketing coordinator is responsible for campaign coordination and execution for display advertising campaigns. 
- Collaborate with Traffic Manager to ideate on content to be delivered to ecommerce customers through the email channel 
- Generate daily and ad-hoc emails using existing html code (email creation software may also be an option but familiarity and ability to tweak html is essential) 
- Understand and demonstrate construction of logic-based queries against relational databases in the email web-based tool 
- Make suggestions on subject line and content through A/B testing to drive retention and engage customers 
- Report against email performance and support traffic manager with data needs 
- Identify and suggest new opportunities to drive revenue through growth of automated campaigns 
- Provide recommendations of effective communication through the addition of personalization to emails 
- Identify and escalate discrepancies or data integrity issues; drive resolution with guidance from manager Copy Writing 
- Generate all copy across marketing channels including website, email, social, and Blog 
- Write and edit copy that aligns with Fabric’s Style Guide and brand voice and ensures work is free of errors - Write creative headlines and review photos to ensure captions match the image 

REQUIRED SKILLS 
Bachelor's degree 
Experience in digital marketing 
Experience in managing multiple, competing priorities simultaneously 
Experience in making data driven business decisions 
Experience with MS Office: Word and Excel Strong ability to communicate both written and verbally 
Ability to decipher and tweak HTML code 

PREFERRED SKILLS 
Experience with Silverpop (Watson Campaign Management) or other email service provider 
Experience in content generation & copy writing 
Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
