Online Marketing Analyst

Community
67% of time on community efforts that will support the goal of engaging with our customers to increase the percentage of contacts that perform activity on our site within 1 year. Engage with client's community online and evaluate trends/activities of users. Be part of internal forum, wiki and teams to ensure cohesive strategy is applied and follow through with execution of the initiatives. Serve as community evangelist working with marketing, communications and applications team to maintain vibrant communities for both customers and within the corporation. Provide marketing support and direction for open source software community initiatives, become an expert in seeding and growing such communities. Work with DCAT support team to ensure community responses are timely, relevant and appropriate. Relative to RTM’s and campaigns, make recommendations on ways to augment these efforts with community content, activities or announcements. Responsible for owning and maintaining a blog.

Deliverables include:
• Team support with goal setting
• Performance and optimization
• Run and maintain forums, blogs and video placements (answers provided by client product groups)
• Formation and support of apps council
• Monitor ratings and reviews inputs
• Team support for Knowledge Centric Support (KCS) wiki
• Team support for developer wiki
• Lead projects to deliver new community components and platforms relative to business goals
• Active suggestions for new media and projects to support community building efforts

Requirements
• 4+ years experience in online marketing
• Experience with and thorough understanding of paid and organic search –strategic as well as tactical
• Understanding of social networking and how to leverage it to drive business goals
• Prior experience with strategic customer outreach and database analysis
• Versatile work style – can be a team player as well as a lead
• Big picture thinker but also analytical and numbers-oriented
• Goal oriented
• New technology nerd
• Good interpersonal and communications skills
• Proficient in Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
