This is a fantastic opportunity for an Online Manager to join the team of a Melbourne- born fashion label!

The Online Manager is responsible for the driving sales growth, customer satisfaction and profitability of the ecommerce site as well as leading the launch of new seasons and brand messaging across online platforms. This role encompasses the management of the product and inventory across the Vend POS systems, as well as the management of the e-commerce systems including Shopify and other platforms for customer service and fulfillment, e.g. Shipit and Zendesk.​

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

ONLINE

  • Development and implementation of the CRM strategy in collaboration with the Creative Director and Sales & Marketing team
  • Identify new opportunities and innovations that enhance the appeal of website
  • Manage ecommerce sales, inventory and expense budget (P&L) 
  • Control all aspects of online business and ecommerce activities, updates and maintenance - creating and driving content for website
  • Optimise ecommerce across technical, merchandising, marketing and customer service aspects to achieve sales and profit targets and best practice UX and functionality
  • Prepare Weekly and Monthly reports to track sales and website performance metrics, informing actions to meet future sales projections and website KPIs
  • Ensure product online meets brand standards and customer requirements
  • Understand usability and navigation issues and integrate these into the overall design concept across all platforms
  • Manage the brand platform CRM and inventory for any new ecommerce drop ship online e-tailers that they partner with e.g. The Iconic Marketplace

PRODUCT, CATEGORY AND CONTENT MANAGEMENT

  • Create seasonal data sheets & meta data for product uploads
  • Contribute to online product shoots to ensure product is presented as best possible to generate online sales
  • Prepare and upload product imagery
  • Creation of web categorisation (shop by category, style & occasion)
  • Copy writing for product and content pages including blog posts
  • Create and execute innovative content, executing a regular schedule of posting content and imagery

MERCHANDISING

  • Prepare seasonal merchandising and purchasing plans
  • Purchase inventory for the ecommerce store based on sales reports and OTB planning
  • Liaise with Marketing and PR on photography requirements
  • Preparation of seasonal sales analysis, sales feedback and product reviews

 

MARKETING IMPLEMENTATION

  • Plan and implement the continual development of website to ensure brand communication is effective and evolving
  • Create an activity plan of promotions and offers that align with Retail and Marketing, and initiate exclusive e-commerce activations to meet sales objectives
  • Implement online marketing campaigns; plan, create, manage and maintain content including web banners
  • Implement EDM campaigns to support merchandising plans and sales objectives and align with Retail activity calendar messaging
  • Managing product copy in Hootsuite and ensure content is pushed through organically onto social channels – i.e. push relevant content onto Facebook and create unique content for Facebook.
  • Develop an SEO strategy and actively seek back links and features on other sites for SEO
  • Explore paid search, display advertising, paid social, remarketing and affiliates strategies to present to the business for investment
