Online Learning Management System Product Manager

The primary focus of this role is to ensure the efficacy and success of the Retail Training Learning Management System. (LMS) The individual in this role will work with business stakeholders and subject-matter experts to define and execute platform objectives. They will use these insights and requirements to develop content and build learning solutions that are sales-relevant, channel-relevant, practical and scalable.
That means assessing and developing enablement and training solutions that provide foundational and advanced knowledge, industry expertise and sales and technical skills for direct sales, channel sales and retail partner readiness.
This is someone who is passionate about working with the field, effective at building relationships, and adept at synthesising large amounts of complex information to make it simple and actionable. This person then needs to project manage LMS contributors and cross-functional teams to ensure the the success of the platform.

The working team spans across NA, APAC & EMEA. This person will be tasked with facilitating collaboration, delegating tasks and managing deliverables across those regional teams. The role includes product management, project management and content management.


Overall Responsibilities:
The product manager will be responsible for partnering with cross functional teams like Retail Marketing to ensure smooth operations and administration of LMS.

Product Management Responsibilities:
- Constantly seek to improve and refine the UX & efficacy
- Conduct internal and channel LMS readiness pilots, as well as train-the-trainer sessions as needed
- Develop knowledge assessments and certification exams and programs to measure content absorption and application
- Measure and assess the effectiveness of project. Then create and communicate reports the show the performance and impact
- Inform the business on future program requirements and identify areas where additional learning and reinforcement are required
- Leverage information gained through needs analysis to recommend, design, develop and implement the appropriate enablement and training solutions. This includes online learning, instructor led training, virtual training, sales aids, instructional videos, audio/video scripts

Project Management Responsibilities:
- Work with teams like Product, Marketing, and Engineering to ensure that deadlines are met.
- Support global strategy for scaling on-boarding program across multiple regions.
- Preparing and managing key, recurring initiatives and communication: Needs Analysis, Dashboards and Impact Reports, etc.
- Engage the field and business stakeholders to identify knowledge, skill and systems enablement requirements for direct sales, channel sales and channel partners
- In collaboration with partners create and drive the vision and feature roadmap for the team
- Proactively managing and tracking key dates, events, and communications.
- Managing various recurring processes: forecasting, budgeting, metrics, etc.

Content Manager Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with SMEs to develop and review the enablement and training content and proactively identify additional expert resources who can address content gaps
- Actively review and evaluate the enablement and training solutions library to determine when content needs to be updated, replaced or retired
- Instruct design teams to design and create relevant courseware

Required Qualifications
- Mid-to-Senior level Product/Project Management
- Mid-to-Senior level Learning and Development experience
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent role related knowledge
- Proactive, self- directed and results-oriented
- Experience in Technology industry or startup
- Consultative approach and proven track record of effective collaboration and influence at all levels of an organisation, with ability to achieve goals in a fast-paced and continuously evolving environment
- Ability to work in and manage ambiguity, including dealing with issues that do not always have a process, system, or solution in place
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong program management skills
- Experience working directly with retail channel sales, partners and direct sales to understand their learning needs, vet content, and gather closed loop feedback
- Ability to clearly identify and communicate meaningful business impact and success metrics for enablement and training solutions
