Online Grocery Mobile & Apps Trading Manager

You will be working in the Grocery Online Trading Team to deliver our trade and seasonal events plan via our mobile website and apps, and look at new ways we can use mobile to drive trade and increase basket size.

This role will require you to manage and co-oridnate the delivery of the trade plan via mobile devices, ensuring that they are landed seamlessly and that they deliver the best online shopping trip for our customers, and also look at new ways we can trade on mobile devices.

You will need to work closely with the Mobile Product & Development Teams so you are engaged at an early stage on new product launches and releases, and feed in requirements from the Online Grocery Trading team.

You will also need good working relationship with our third-party mobile agency, and ensure that they are working on time and on budget, and building the best customer journey for our customers at the same time.

You must be able to bring people with you, as you will need to work very closely with a number of teams across the business in order to deliver campaigns which are right for customers and ensures the business meets it KPIs.

Key Role Accountabilities
Reporting to the Online Store Manager your responsibilities will include:

• Putting our customers first – above all else, it’s our job to ensure the site we maintain delivers an excellent customer experience. Its key you make good customer focused decisions.

• Ensure the mobile journeys (across mobile web and apps) for customers are delivered on time, meeting business requirements and optimise the customer journey.

• Basket Size performance – know the basket size and conversion targets, and ensure the plans you develop help meet the weekly targets.

• Manage the end to end process for the delivery of the trade and events plan via the mobile channels.

• Review and collate the current position of our mobilised content, with a clear plan of changes and mobilisation priorities.

• Managing the mobile updates – To co-ordinate between numerous stakeholders, both on and off-shore, to ensure the mobile site reflects key in store, online and seasonal initiatives and activities. Taking accountability for mobile sign off, ensuring the accuracy and legality of all messaging, offers and creative.

• Planning our resource - to ensure projects are delivered and priorities are aligned.

• Review mobile performance - Reviewing all activity to ensure learning’s are applied to future activity and that dotcom feedback is captured in all multi channel reviews.

• Use analysis to develop our mobile capability - Working closely with the Optimisation Manager to incorporate the use of web stats and understand how it can be used to improve what we do on mobile.

• Look at new ways we can drive trade on mobile devices and work with the Mobile Product Team to get these live e.g. service push notifications

• Mobile specific performance metrics – be clear on the targets for mobile and look to optimise and improve performance on a weekly basis.

• Set up ways of working with Dunnhumby - to ensure sold advertising campaigns are mobilised.

• Work with our Mobile Product Team to identify opportunities to deliver more via our mobile websites and apps, and be the go-to person for any queries they have for Grocery Online Trading.

• Keeping up-to-date with best practices in online and mobile retailing, identifying new ways we can build upon and run our websites (desktop and mobile). Actively generate new ideas to drive the channels to deliver more excitement and inspiration.

• Competitor Monitoring – know what our competitors are doing, and learn from them.
