Online Content Manager

A small digital marketing team at a large F100 financial services company is looking for a strong Online Content Manager to join their team for a long term contract (12 months+) and manage the content planning, ongoing content updates and optimization for a highly scaled customer centric digital platform.

Our client is seeking a rock star self-starter to dive in, resolve ambiguity, and achieve results with digital experience in collaboration with Product Managers and Project Managers. He or she will effectively communicate cross-functionally to enhance the customer experience across online, mobile, and other digital platforms. The candidate should also have search engine optimization (SEO) expertise, creating and maintaining an editorial calendar, familiarity with content management systems, and experience in assessing the performance of content.

As their new Online Content Manager, you will:
- Manage the end-to-end process for updating educational content in key areas of the public site, including the editorial calendar and creation of detailed content decks (e.g., body content, links, metadata, disclosures) used for publishing new content.
- Apply SEO principles and resources toward identifying topics and creating digital content
- Manage relationships and consolidate feedback from business, legal, and technology representatives as well as social media partners.
- Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) of public site pages in development and provide status updates as needed, including post-launch metrics analysis

You’ll need:
- The ability to assess and deliver ideal user experiences
- Past experience in SEO; past experience in using SEO analysis platforms is a plus
- To understand and interpret stakeholder conversations in order to capture feedback, distill key points, and identify next steps, plus write clear summaries of a discussion
- Proven experience in prioritizing work from multiple projects based on dependencies and pending deadlines
- To demonstrate an ability and interest in technology with the ability to capture technical details required in project definition documents, business requirements, etc.

We’d prefer:
- Industry background in banking, brokerage, or insurance industry
