Online Channel Manager - Sales

Responsible for the strategic growth and development of new online products and services together with increasing adoption of existing products within the portfolio this position has a strong commercial focus and senior level of responsibility.

In this role you’ll be tasked with growing the digital footprint of this particular business unit through the definition and delivery of an integrated online sales and service capability to all targeted consumer segments. Working in partnership with product and marketing teams, distribution and portfolio managers the expectation of you will be to challenge the status quo! Just because its been done like that in the past doesn’t necessarily mean it needs to be so in the future – so here’s your opportunity to buck the trend.

A key component of this role will be your ability to engage and influence key stakeholders across digital strategy, mobile, customer experience, production and service quality in order to become champions and advocates of yourself so that whatever change you seek about bringing, it is met with minimal resistance and maximum support.

From a day to day perspective you’ll be across a myriad of accountabilities and responsibilities, measuring, tracking and interpreting online customer behaviour relevant to increasing the sales of product and service adoption together with managing third party relationships with vendors and agency partners, contact centres, and technology providers. Reporting to your Senior Manager your efforts will contribute significantly to the broader group vision and over arching digital strategy.

If you’d like to find out more interested applicants are requested to demonstrate 5 to 7 years current digital experience gained within large corporations, working in a channel or product marketing role, driving your own strategic initiatives forward and being able to confidentially prove their value and your success.

You’ll be well familiar already with what it takes to successfully navigate a highly complex corporate environment, experienced in creating and leading project teams, inspiring and motivating others to support your business priorities.

University educated you’ll be a high achiever, and specific to digital you’ll be across customer centred design, search, analytics, insight and of course online product sales.
