OnLine Web Marketing Specialist/Developer

This is a one of a kind opportunity to work with a well known organization in their exciting and growing marketing group.

In this role, you will support the digital marketing department with the implementation of online & social media, mobile, and e-mail executions. You'll use both the right and left sides of your brain presenting concepts, tools, functionality and staging environments to both the marketing team and the departments it supports.


• Planning and management of e-Marketing activities, as well as the development of integrated e-mail, micro-site and social media page layouts.

• Create and code websites, micro sites, e-mails and other online marketing materials, including dynamic content/forms, layouts, etc

• Maintain and resolve usability issues of website, micro sites, and e-mail templates

• Manage the creation of new email campaigns from inception through developing, optimizing, troubleshooting, testing, sending, and tracking

• Develop HTML and plain text emails that are action-inducing that ultimately enhance page views, site visits, click through rate, open rates, and ultimately conversions

• Analyze and report metrics for all email campaigns, optimize campaigns, and send practices based on information learned

• Manage and adhere to established schedules while ensuring quality standards are met

• Bachelors Degree in Marketing, eBusiness, Information Technology or other related field

• 5 years experience in Interactive, eBusiness/eCommerce, web project management or/and web design/developer/producer

• Excellent, in-depth level of knowledge in e-mail marketing, online media and web technologies, along with experience in strategic and analytical management of digital campaigns.

• Experienced in digital image manipulation & creation (Adobe Photoshop) an asset

• Solid knowledge of Digital Marketing best practices and Internet functionality and technology trends

• Proven organizational, planning and project management skills and ability to perform multiple tasks

• Proven experience in balancing technical, marketing and usability components

• Ability to see the big picture whilst being detail-oriented

• Excellent analytical and intuitive problem solving skills

• Creativity with respect to idea generation and solution implementation

• Ability to work as a team and also independently

• Strong communication skills
