Working under the direction of the Senior Creative Direction Lead, the position will partner with customers and the creative team to set the conceptual direction for a range of video, digital, and offline deliverables. They will be responsible for shaping the creative at each stage of the development process, providing quality control over concepts, design execution and adherence to corporate brand standards. The position requires a sharp design eye, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage by influence.
Primary Responsibilities: • Work with customers to define the creative approach of projects. Deliverable types include video, web, print and event collateral, social, environmental graphics. • Contribute to the creation of project plans and estimates. • Run creative kick off meetings and brainstorming sessions. Establish expectations around scope and creative review cycles for creative deliverables. • Set creative direction for project teams and provide support and guidance on the creative development process. • Evolve ideas through sketching, light weight prototypes, and benchmarking. • Serve as primary point of engagement on projects with senior team members and their direct reports. Present work to customers. • Review new creative developed by staff and freelance talent, focusing on design integrity and corporate identity adherence. Provide coaching to team. • Discuss performance expectation of creative team with functional managers based on project requirements. Outline edits with project team based on customer feedback. • Conduct creative reviews with Senior Creative Direction Lead to ensure for brand alignment and to identify opportunities to evolve brand applications forward. • Forms a strategic partnership with business customers and proactively understands their strategy and key products.
