Office Services Manager

We’re looking for someone who will walk in, take ownership of this important role, and love working with a smart and creative team of people.

Primary Responsibilities

● Maintain vendor relationships
● Plan allocation and utilization of space and resources
● Project management and supervising and coordinating work of contractors;
● Checking that agreed work by staff or contractors has been completed satisfactorily and following up on any deficiencies
● Ensuring the building meets health and safety requirements
● Responsible for ensuring proper service of: security, maintenance, cleaning, catering, waste disposal and recycling
● Identify and pursue opportunities to save costs for required supplies, services, utilities and increase effectiveness
● Manage equipment maintenance requests/needs
● Respond quickly to urgent issues
● Mail and package distribution, cleaning, catering, waste
● Maintain kitchen area
● Scheduling and maintaining of shared meeting rooms.
● Backup to main reception area
● Guide tour for new hires
● Order office supplies for staff

Critical competencies

● 2+ years of related work experience
● Strong interpersonal relations skills
● Self motivated and takes initiative
● Strong ability to exercise judgment and make decisions Extreme attention to detail, and strong organization skills
● Customer service fanatic
● Proven ability to solve problems, make decisions, and resolve conflicts
● Ability to plan, organize, and delegate work to achieve desired results
● Experience managing multiple priorities
● Proven ability to learn new technology quickly
● Familiarity with Google applications, and Microsoft Office
● College degree preferred
● Knowledge of equipment and facility management
