OEM Reseller & Sales Support Marketing

Contract will run until 31st December 2012 with a view to then extend for the following 6 months to June 30th 2013

The Role:
The OEM Reseller and Sales Support Marketing role will work closely with the Partner Account Manager (PAM) to develop joint marketing plans that fit within the guidelines and drive incremental revenue within the account. They will aim to drive down unlicensed PCs in the channel (ie PCs that are sold with no operating system) and they will seek innovative ways to drive office and server attach. This role also supports a PAM who works with some Multi National Accounts: Sony, Samsung and Fujitsu and in this situation, they will be responsible for ensuring that the Marketing Plans are being uploaded into the Microsoft tool and that they are executed to timescales and that they collect the proof of execution.

The Person:
The ideal candidate will be someone who is currently at a Marketing admin or exec level who has some experience of working with Partners in the IT industry.
Key Accountabilities:
• OEM Resellers:
o Develop a communications plan for the resellers
o Work with the PAMs to identify the key partners to develop joint marketing plans with
o Work with the Partners who have Programme funding and ensure that they are utilizing the funding in the right way as per guidelines
o Train the partners on the marketing programmes
o Keep up to date with the relevant marketing campaigns that are being developed by Corp and communicate these out through the relevant channels
o Communicate the benefits of website content syndication to drive uptake of this service
o Support the funded heads in channel with collateral
o Ensure that all partners who receive joint marketing funding have the right agreements in place and understand the proof of execution that they need to supply with deadlines
• MNA Partners:
o Work with PAM to understand the marketing plans and what you need to do to ensure that the partner executes according to the plan
o Upload plans into the online tool
o Communicate with the Partner to ensure that activity is taking place
o Inform the Partner of any deadlines for providing proof of execution
o Train the partners on the programmes
o Provide the partners with logos and messaging
o Support partner events with stands and collateral
Knowledge / Skills and Experience:
• Development of a communications plan to a breadth audience
• Attention to detail and tenacity to follow up on action points
• Experience on managing Marketing budgets and forecasting accurately
• Experience of either working in the IT channel or with retail partners
• Ability to develop strong relationships at multiple levels
• Ability to manage a very large and fluctuating workload with multiple priorities, deadlines and contacts in a fast paced environment
• Great verbal, telephone and written communication skills
• Very strong team player but with ability to work on own initiative
• Customer focused and Customer satisfaction oriented
• Educated to degree level
