NonProfit Associate Marketing Manager

Our great, nationally known non profit client is looking for a Marketing Professional! This person needs a drive to want to learn and grow their 1+ years of marketing or account management experience into an amazing career with an organization that changes lives EVERY single day!


PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES


• Assist with the discussion of the creative process with clients and team members to achieve the desired end result of projects, including idea conception, project direction, layout and production.
• Participate in weekly meetings with program subject matter experts across the client's teams to maintain positive and productive relationships between the marketing department and client's branch staff.
• Help to develop success metrics and review branch activities and program initiatives and assist with recommendations for improvement if needed.
• Understand the unique tone and voice of the client and be able to translate it into effective marketing materials for one of the three program areas.
• Organize and deploy Marketing Communications projects and Association Office requests.


Takes the initiative and holds self and others accountable to meet or exceed quantitative and qualitative goals relating to people (employees and members), philanthropy, finance and volunteerism.
Facilitates change, seeks opportunities in the change process, models adaptability, and leads transition in support of the their mission.

Promotes creativity, generates excitement, and rewards risk taking, while consistently demonstrating a high level of emotional maturity, maintaining a positive attitude and building strong relationships.


POSITION REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 1 years of work experience as an account manager with multiple clients OR as a marketing professional in an agency setting - must have experience managing multiple requests from multiple sources
• Demonstrated experience/results in working with writers, project managers, clients and senior leaders in the successful development of marketing communications materials.
• A hunger to develop as an effective manager.
• Comfort and ability to assist in trainings in client's program subject matter area.
• Ability to self-direct, prioritize and work independently on assigned tasks.
• Outstanding written, presentation and verbal communications skills with proven ability to make data tell a story and drive strategic decision-making.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
• Comfortable working in fluid environments.
• Comfortable working in a PC environment.
