New Business Development Manager for Creative Agency

0 people like this description

Once upon a time, there was an awesome company filled with people who genuinely loved helping others. This company spent 25 years getting better and better at what they did: Creative Staffing. They lived it, they breathed it - and they thrived.

Then one day that awesome company thought, "Hey, why not grow a NEW team dedicated to servicing some of our hippest design customers?". And thus was born their newest role. And they called it "The Hunter". Ok, so they called it the Business Development Manager, but doesn't HUNTER sound better (in a cool, no animals were harmed in the making of this job way?) They knew this role would be critical to their growth, so this superstar salesperson would have some big responsibilities:

• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of clients by following a sound sales process, developing relationships & cross-selling all our Creative segments
• Generate high number of new and repeat orders by calling clients to ask for business and delivering fanatical customer service as we learn how we can help them
• Know our "A-List" Creative Talent and promote them to clients through calls and marketing
• Leverage Talent Agent Creative subject matter expertise to uncover client opportunities
• Actively participate and network with professionals within the design community to stay on top of industry trends and share your knowledge with others
• Respond with remarkable speed and quality to incoming client requests while working hard to proactively find work for Talent on an ongoing basis
Exceed customer and internal expectations by providing daily communication and creative solutions to problems and bringing a can-do attitude
• Be an incredible team player who works hard to help our team, our Talent, and our clients as we all get smarter and grow, grow, grow!

Sound like something you have the skills, experience and interest to be GREAT at? Then read on for what you'll need to bring with you to be considered:
• 5+ years of professional SALES experience working as part of a team, interacting directly with internal or external clients
• A solid online network (if you have fewer than 200 LinkedIn connections, then this role might not be right for you...)
• Any staffing sales experience would be ideal - experience selling services considered
• Interactive design and/or technology experience would be fabulous
• Knowledge of advertising, interactive, and design fields necessary - if you don't have direct experience in these fields, WOW us in writing with what you can learn before applying

If you're interested in joining one of the coolest teams out there, then send us your resume and professional online/social media contact info. If you really want to WOW, make sure you include a written summary of why you are the BEST person for our job.
