Network TV Digital Marketing Manager

We are looking for a contract Network TV/ Digital Marketing Manager. 6 months contract. Must have prior experience with Marketing of a Television Network as well as DIgital marketing experience.

This position is primarily responsible for all stages of strategic development and creative execution of revenue generating, digital/multi-platform integrated marketing solutions that come to life online on mobile and on emerging platforms. Individual will work closely with Digital Ad Sales, Digital Marketing, Brand Marketing, Research, On-Air Marketing, and Production departments to ensure that all opportunities maximize client investment, minimize production costs and meet both advertisers’ and Network brand objectives.

Job Responsibilities:
• Develop digital and 360 integrated marketing programs/sales materials through the brand lens while demonstrating our commitment to being the most welcoming and collaborative marketing partner in media.
• Work both independently and with team to develop concepts and written proposals.
• Interface with Digital Sales Management and AE’s on a daily basis to respond to RFPs (Digital Pure Play and 360), understand current and prospective client businesses and proactively develop digital/360 opportunities.
• Support team in execution of broadcast and 360 programs through creative brief creation, status reports, client-delivery and timeline management.
• Work with Digital Sales, Marketing, Site leader & Pure Play team to develop cross-platform category specific opportunities and proactively target clients.
• Interface with internal finance and inventory partners to provide production and media costs consistent with marketing offerings.
• Interface with Sales Research to secure on-going ComScore, Neilsen, Omniture, IAG and demographic research relevant for use in developing presentation materials.
• Participate in client/agency meetings on a regular basis to conduct needs-analysis and present marketing solutions.

Required Skill Set:
• Bachelors Degree
• Minimum of 5 years marketing experience at a television network/website with a large, passionate community OR at a leading digital marketing / promotions agency. Minimum of 4 years in the digital space.
• Experience in Digital Media Marketing and project management working with Ad Sales and advertising clients
• Results-oriented, self-motivated worker with a track record of delivering on commitments
• Strong understanding and working knowledge of new technologies and new media trends such as smartphones, tablets, mobile apps, interactive television, streaming media boxes, connected TVs, and more…
• Strategic/Integrated Marketing orientation with the ability to problem-solve for all platforms (online, mobile, TV)
• Excellent creative/marketing writing skills
• Excellent presentation skills for both external & internal presentation
• Ability to translate advertiser objectives into programmable elements from concept to execution
• Digital media planning and buying acumen.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel
