The Native App UI Designer creates Android design solutions that support biz requirements based on user needs and goals. The designer should have experience working with brand and/or design guidelines in a large team setting. The person should have a good understanding of user experience methodologies, web development practices and presenting creative concepts to the team and coworkers. The position requires the person to manage multiple projects, including managing timelines and tracking tasks. The person also participates in the cross-functional groups to gather functional requirements, document workflow, project deliverables and track development tasks.

SCOPE OF THE PROJECT:
Works with a multiple discipline team of about 5-9 people on about 3 projects at a time. Develops design solutions in Adobe Photoshop and creates Web design guidelines to support development. Often works independently, but at times under the direction of lead designers

1) Ability to create and verbally articulate branded design solutions.
2) Understands Web Development methodologies including CSS, HTML, and Responsive design
3) EXPERT knowledge of Photoshop & Illustrator

1) Actively participates in team planning and project definition meetings
2) Partners with UX and Editorial teams on developing design
solutions
3) Create design solutions that support business goals, user needs and are on brand.
4) Plans and manages own tasks and project deliverables
5) Presents design solutions to department managers, project team, and coworkers.
