BA in Television, Film, Communications, Publishing, Business or similar preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years experience in television/music/entertainment field, preferably in a business affairs, rights & clearances, or licensing capacity.

-Working knowledge of legal concepts related to music licensing for all types of media platforms and ability to understand agreements at a high level.

Proven excellence in driving initiatives forward from strategy to execution with demonstrated ability to be innovative and suggest changes or improvements as needed.

-Ability to handle a high volume of licenses requests with accurate execution and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to changes in requests.

-Familiarity with Google Docs, Sheets, Presentations and Gmail.
Be the central point of contact for all music licensing requests:
-Maintain the music license intake request form and make updates (based on feedback) as needed
-Ensure “artist track only” requests are forwarded to the agency and filter non-track deals to Business Development team and other internal counterparts, as needed.
-Create a process to guide internal stakeholders’ requests during larger launch moments
-Maintain music license training materials and host trainings on the process as needed
-Liaise with cross functional partners, including Product Marketing and Legal to ensure music clearance SOWs are done with consideration to identified time restrictions, territories, cost parameters, etc. and ensure terms agreed to concur with company policy. Propose alternative solutions should issues arise during process.
-Send nearly finalized SOWs to Business Affairs for review to ensure deals are within negotiated terms.
-Manage and update the music licensing database track all assigned programs/projects and ensure that licenses are executed and paid in a timely manner.
-Work with agency to provide a quarterly summary / report on new music licenses, their start and end dates, spend and details on license granted (artist, track, territories, etc).
-Keep teams informed of expiring music licensing agreements.
-Manage licensed music budget and process approval for licensing of confirmed uses.
