Company based on Rancho Bernardo seeks Multimedia Graphic Designer for contract-to-hire role. The Multimedia Graphic Designer is primarily responsible for the consistency and quality of creative. In this role, the key contributions will be leading, developing, delivering and maintaining impactful creative solutions across all forms of media that promote the company brand in the market place under tight deadlines and with a strong sense of concept development.

Multimedia deliverables include but are not limited to; product installation animations, video, digital advertisements, website graphics, social creative, email campaigns, electronic newsletters, logos and form templates.

Printed marketing collateral deliverables include but are not limited to; product catalogs, product brochures and flyers, event programs, training materials, packaging, direct mail promotions, signage, print advertisement, conference/event materials and other print documents as needed using professional page layout and graphic design software. This position is also responsible for editing and manipulating photos, editing and proofreading copy for accuracy, grammar, punctuation, consistency and formatting, and consults with commercial printers regarding format and print specifications.

POSITION EXPECTATIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for the development, design and execution of all print and digital marketing communication materials required by company
• Conceptually design and layout artwork for print and digital collateral from concept to completion as directed
• Possesses a strong understanding of fundamental design principles (concept, typography, layout, hierarchy, color composition, etc.)
• Excellent graphic design experience and an eye for great design
• Conceptualizing, scripting, storyboarding, coordinating, producing and editing sales & marketing animations and other multimedia
• Modifying designs quickly to accommodate edits
• Create clear, compelling and innovative designs that support and maintain consistency across all managed brands
• Manage and prioritize projects to ensure flawless delivery
• Ability to work seamlessly in a team environment, with team members across all disciplines
• Demonstrated flexibility in multiple task assignments while maintaining a high level of accuracy
• Work closely with subject matter experts on project organization and concept development
• Stay current on best practices and implement new creative techniques and applications for multimedia
• Collaborate with Marketing Manager and President/CEO to create original designs that support the brand in traditional and digital media
• Create final print signatures for print production and digital production of collateral
• Complete projects by coordinating with outside agencies, printers and vendors
