Multidisciplinary (Presentation) Designer

A large financial services company is looking for a Multidisciplinary Designer to join their team. If you are looking to work for a fun and dynamic team, that is constantly moving the needle and innovating themselves and their product, then this is for you! This is an opportunity to be in a position where you will wear many hats and have the chance to dabble in areas that may be new to you! If something needs to be done this team makes it happen, and if they don't have the skill set required then they learn it. 

Contract Details: 20-40 hours a week (up to the candidate), flex on the hours, onsite in Irvine, 3 month contract to start (could be ongoing) 

This job entails a few components:

1.) PPT Presentation Design (Majority of role is in this area!) 

  • Telling a story through presentation design, and making financial content and graphics consumable to the audience
  • 8-10 internal presentations a year (some including: 4 company wide including 10k+ attendees, 4 quarterly presentations, 1 external client presentation, 1 global leaders presentation) 
  • Create presentations that are pixel perfect when presenting on large scale screens 
  • Ability to work with audio and video professionals to frame shots and create appropriate sound in the space accordingly
  • Experience in the entire presentation of not only the slides themselves but also the presenter and who they will be displayed when speaking against the slides 
  • Expertise in time management: dealing with different time zones and time it takes to send and retrieve information from other countries during presentation planning
  • Must be expert in PowerPoint
  • Experience in Adobe InDesign and Illustrator is preferred

2.) Web Design

  • Design and produce web pages, product pages and external marketing campaigns

3.) Production Work 

  • Experience using InDesign to make changes to print collateral that is passed to employees or clients (making changes to banner and creating layout and placement of body including agenda, directory, and bios, etc.) 

4.) Other

  • Looking for someone who doesn’t mind dabbling in other areas of the business where needed (examples would be making infographics, pulling lists of job titles from LinkedIn, etc)
