Day Rate - £200-£250 DOE

Contract Length - 3 Months w/ likely extension/rolling

Our client are a world leader in business information and intelligence, combining industry expertise with innovative technology. Our client deliver critical information to industry leaders across finance, legal, accounting and media markets, working on internal and external communications, product launches and broadcast advertising.


Role Description

Our client are looking for a top Motion Graphics Designer with an excellent eye for creativity and the hands on skills to match. The majority of day to day responsibilities will involve 2D motion design using After Effects, creating assets from scratch based on a specific brief from the client and then animating to produce high quality films from between 30 seconds to 3 minutes. Video topics will range from corporate communications, product launches and broadcast ads. 3D elements will also play a part in day to day work, mainly using After Effects, but a good knowledge of Cinema 4D would be highly beneficial.

Working in a relatively small team, it will be the chosen candidates responsibility to manage their own workload, taking on briefs and working from creative concept through to final delivery. On occasion other skills such as Video editing may be required, so a knowledge of Premiere Pro would be a bonus.

As part of a team, it is important to collaborate and work closely with team members, but also to be able to work autonomously, managing your own workload and ensuring deadlines are met with solutions exceeding expectations and pushing creativity.


Skills & Experience

Our client are looking for a highly creative and talented Motion Graphics Designer with experience across both 2D and 3D motion, someone with previous studio experience producing assets from scratch for animation. Previous experience producing storyboards and style-frames is also important. The chosen candidate must be a very capable individual that requires minimal direction and is comfortable working and developing creative routes and ideas.


Other skills include:

  • Excellent knowledge of Adobe CS (Especially After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Knowledge of specific plug-ins, including Trapcode and Plexus etc
  • Knowledge of Cinema 4D and Premiere Pro is desirable
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Highly creative capable of concepting multiple routes to answer a brief
