We are seeking an IT Business Analyst for the Mobility/Mobile Application Team under the ITC Business Unit. The Mobility Business Analyst will have the opportunity to be involved in Corporate-wide iOS and Windows application updates, as well as support the Corporate App Store. The Business Analyst will be responsible for helping manage and implement processes/process improvements, basic project management, help develop communication for projects/upgrades, analyze and design reports for testing applications, liaison between resources, etc. The hiring manager is seeking a candidate who is a self-starter, complex decision-maker, great communicator, and organized. This position will have the potential to extend beyond the given end date. 

The Business Analyst job family defines skills for formulating and defining system scope using information technology and industry knowledge/requirements, based on both user needs and a good understanding of information technology, business processes, and industry requirements. The job progression identifies responsibilities ranging from assisting, formulating and defining systems scope and objectives to self-directed activities that client’s long term improvements in business processes. 

Scope of Work Examples: 
Coordination of technologies and business; Gather requirements and solutions development 

• Responsible for a liaison role between the business and the providers of IT services to ensure functional specs are understood and they have what they need to develop their tech specs. 
• Analyzes issues to be solved within an enterprise and helps provide solutions to meet the desired business outcomes through the use of IT. 
• Understands and documents business requirements and user requirements to ensure system designs meets business needs. 
• Ensures knowledge transfer to the support organization occurs prior to system go-live. 
• Schedules and communicate the system go-live date. 
• Develops and/or update documentation and training materials. 
• Ensures IT and SOX compliance is covered 
• Documents, functional requirements that describe the system, process, or product to fulfill the business requirements. 

Required Skills/Experience: 
•Experience with SharePoint, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access), Visio, MS Project, other project planning applications. 
•Experience and full understanding of full SDLC/application development life cycle projects. 
•Gather and analyze information to determine solution, improve process, drive decision 
•Delivers solutions through operational excellence 
•Facilitates, analyzes, documents and maintains requirements throughout the solution life-cycle 
•Identifies solution alternatives to meet business needs 
•Plans and executes activities to deliver solution or complete smaller projects 

Education/Experience: 
• Bachelor's degree required 

Skills/Experience: 
•Mobile Application/Development BA experience highly preferred 
•Project Management and Documentation preferred 
• Gather and analyze information to determine solution, improve process, drive decision 
• Delivers solutions through operational excellence 
• Facilitates, analyzes, documents and maintains requirements throughout the solution life cycle
