We’re looking for a Mobile Product Manager to help build a new app for the Windows Phone 8 platform. As the lead, you will own and drive this project from start to finish, championing, and delivering on every feature within the app. In addition, you will lead a small, agile sprint team to ensure requirements are written clearly, implemented efficiently, and tested appropriately. This role is inherently cross-functional—you will work closely with engineering, design, project management, and QA to bring the new product to life (on time and under budget)! If you enjoy building version 1.0 products, this is the role for you!

• Serve as the Product Owner, overseeing all aspects of design, development, and testing.

• Write detailed user stories and/or requirements; also ensure clear communication of these requirements across the Development, Design, and QA teams

• Serve as the customer advocate within a cross-functional team.

• Work closely with the in-house subject matter experts and coordinate with outside vendors.

• Prioritize defect fixes to ensure release, and provide “go” or “no-go” decisions as needed.

• Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals.

• Operate with a high degree of independence in a fast-moving environment where there is often little historical data or precedence.

• Clearly communicate status, dependencies, or roadblocks to business stakeholders throughout the life of the project.

• 5+ years Product Management experience.

• 2+ years mobile experience working with apps or mobile sites.

• Experience working on Windows Phone apps preferred.

• Knowledge of, or experience with, iOS, Android, and Blackberry apps a plus.

• Past history of launching a consumer-facing online/mobile technology from start to finish.

• Extensive experience in writing requirements, user stories, or use cases.

• Extensive experience defining scope and organizing teams in an agile environment.

• Experience managing or working with an outside vendor.

• Ability to learn new technologies and quickly adapt to change in a fast paced environment.

• History of teamwork, street smarts, and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.

• Excellent customer experience intuition; demonstrated success in creating innovative and user-friendly features.

• Excellent communication skills; demonstrated success building buy-in from a team.

• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams through influence versus direct management;

• Technical fluency; comfort understanding and discussing architectural concepts, schedule tradeoffs and new opportunities with technical team members a plus.
