Seeking for a Training Mobile Designer/Developer that has the ability to deliver creative presentations. A member of the Sales and Marketing training team, responsible for the design and development of training (traditional classroom-style as well as e-learning) for Sales, Marketing, E-Commerce, Revenue Management and Event Management across all channels. Ensures training is current, relevant, applicable to all brands and global.
• Performs more complex quantitative and qualitative analysis for business processes and/or projects. Often manages small projects, business processes or parts of larger ones.
• Proficiency in eLearning development software including Articulate and Captivate.
�� Responds to, solves and makes decisions on more complex/non-routine business requests with limited to
moderate risk.
�� Responsible for own work and contributing to team, department and/or business results. May direct work of
non-management staff.
�� Assists more senior associates in achieving business results by:
− identifying opportunities to enhance the effectiveness of business processes.
− providing training and technical guidance to less senior staff, where appropriate, and serving as point-ofcontact
for problem resolution.
− participating in setting department operating plans.
− recognizing and celebrating team successes.
− achieving results against budget within scope of responsibility.

Specific Expected Contributions
�� Training Development (70%)
- Design, develop and implement training strategies, programs and processes as they relate to Sales,
Marketing, Revenue Management, E-Commerce, and Event Management discipline; modes including inperson
classroom-style delivery as well as online, self-paced and online virtual classroom delivery.
- Develop training for Revenue Management, Sales, Marketing, E-Commerce, and Event Management
system enhancements.
- Develop, refine, and implement tools, measures and people processes, which enhance a property’s ability
to maximize revenue, increase sales and service customers.
- Assess business needs and work with business representatives/stakeholders to scope project
requirements..
- Create participant materials, facilitator guides, and implementation materials for all programs using
software programs such as PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
- Create e-learning using software such as Captivate, Articulate, Discovery Cafe and other e-learning
programs and web and video conferencing softwares.
- Solicit and incorporate feedback from subject matter experts and assess evaluation feedback to make
appropriate changes.
�� Project Management (20%)
- Project management responsibilities with an emphasis on leading the efforts on medium to large sized
initiatives that affect all brands and multiple audience types.
- Lead a team of discipline experts in the development of Revenue Management, Sales, Marketing, ECommerce
and Event Management training for all Marriott Lodging brands.
- Provide leadership and managerial direction in the development and execution of Revenue Management,
Sales, Marketing, E-Commerce, and Event Management training.
- Work with team to determine appropriate delivery options (e.g., instructor-led web-based, job aides, etc.)
- Work with business representatives to scope project requirements and ensure alignment with business
needs and objectives.
- Assist in the design of program rollout strategies.
- Plan and execute a communications strategy for all initiatives, ensuring all stakeholders are appropriately
informed.
�� Training Delivery (10%)
- Facilitate training as needed in-person at various Sales and Marketing schools and institutes, and online in
virtual classroom settings.
- Plan, conduct and evaluate pilots.
- Identify methods for measuring the effectiveness of training.
- Identify, test and apply new delivery techniques.
- Assist in training the trainers in the delivery of programs.
�� Building Relationships
- Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders, across regions, brands, and disciplines.
- Increase awareness of and participation in our curriculum by our franchise partners.
- Foster team work, maximize efficiencies, and work to promote synergies between the Development,
Delivery and Logistics teams.
�� Learning & Applying Personal Expertise
- Utilize strong field experience to ensure training and facilitators are meeting the needs of the audiences
represented and are effective in the learning and development of the participants.
- Develop personal leadership skills.
- Develop knowledge of Sales, Marketing, E-Commerce, Revenue Management and Event Management
across all brands.
- Be proficient in all software programs necessary for the position: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Captivate,
Articulate, Discovery Café and others as needed.
