Mobile Design Lead

Our Fortune 1000 client is seeking a Mobile Design Lead to join the Team! Portfolio a must! Please show wireframing, sketches, storyboards & high fidelity comps. Come help us move to the next level! Are you up for the challenge?

Responsibilities:

• Design user-friendly experiences for mobile apps and m.site.
• Create and present design concepts to the business and technical teams.
• Generate design ideas in the form of wireframes, prototypes, sketches, storyboards, site maps, mockups, or comps to clearly communicate concepts.
• Facilitate other ideation exercises to push the boundaries of mobile design.
• Conduct user research and observe customer behavior before starting the design process.-
• Stay on top of the latest industry trends and mobile OS releases.
• Produce marketing or promotional creative for print, web, and app mediums.
• Create a vision for mobile design at Alaska Airlines and see that it becomes a reality.

Qualifications
• 7+ years of experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, information architect, graphic designer, creative lead, or similar design-related role.
• 5+ years using the Adobe Creative Suite.
• 5+ years designing user interfaces, preferably in a professional business environment.
• Deep understanding of user interface patterns for native mobile (iOS/Android/Windows Phone) and mobile web preferred.
• Experience designing interactions for an ecommerce product or platform is a plus.
• Ability to produce multiple unique design approaches to a business or technical challenge.
• Knowledge of industry-standard tools, including Axure, Omnigraffle, or Visio preferred.
• Experience with agile methodologies (i.e. agile, scrum, kanban, sticky notes).
• Ability to communicate estimates for design work required for a project.
• Solid design portfolio demonstrating masterful typography, design styles, and UX solutions.
• Team player with a healthy sense of humor.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
• Self-directed working style.
