Our client is seeking a Mobile Application Coordinator for the Mobility/Mobile Application Team under the ITC Business Unit.
This is an Application Coordination customer facing role in the Mobility team. Responsible for managing internal deployment efforts, liaising with business units with application ideas and working with other ITC organizations such as IRSM security, Legal, TSS, and more. Candidates must have experience and deep skills in Application Development. Experience developing Mobile Apps (Web Apps, iOS, etc) will be a plus. Candidates will work on projects with multiple 3rd Party development teams, ITC personnel throughout the organization and with customers throughout the organization. This role will be responsible for quality control of Mobile App code, ensure Architecture and technical standards are being applied and supporting mobile app testing and loading into the clients environment.
Ability to work from a high to low level of detail is required. Managing multiple projects and tasks at one time and excellent customer relationship management skills are vital.
Position details and required skills:
Experience or demonstrated knowledge of mobile app iOS platform development languages & tools including the iOS SDK, Objective-C, and XCode is desired. Experience or demonstrated knowledge of cross platform tools such as Xamarin would be a plus.
Must understand the importance of adhering to corporate branding and coding standards, and following standardized department processes. Acts as a resident technical expert for mobile App development. Participates in maturing development and environment standards and advises on the future technical direction of automation.
Responsible for performing day to day 3rd level design and support activities involving all mobile technologies.
Provide guidance on improving the current existing processes.
Provide troubleshooting of application and hardware failures, developing strategies for resolving them and preventing future occurrences.
Technical writing skills to provide documentation of supported systems, applications and scripts developed.
Stays abreast of both technology changes and operating environment changes to assess potential impact to supported systems and application infrastructures.
Proactively look for opportunities to improve service and/or reduce costs.
Bachelor’s degree required; Preferably Information Management or Computer Science
10+ years Application coordination experience
3-5 years Mobile Application Development experience
Knowledge of ASP.NET, C#, and application development
Familiarity with O365 solutions
Communications and technical writing must have strong ability to effectively communicate (oral and written) regarding complex technology and systems. Able to develop and document technical requirements, instructions and standards and present complex ideas to colleagues, partners and all levels of management
