Vitamin T's client, a major automotive manufacturer whose NY presence focuses primarily on a luxury line's rebrand, is looking for a Mobile Account Manager/Strategist.

PRIMARY FUNCTION / POSITION SUMMARY:
The Mobile Account Manager functions as the primary day-to-day client liaison on marketing communications with responsibility for building strong client/agency relationships based on achieving goals of clients’ marketing objectives in an efficient and effective manner.

This position requires expertise in the mobile and tablet space specifically in the areas of industry knowledge and best practices. Mobile and tablet marketing experience to include; SMS, MMS, mobile website, apps, QR codes/MS tags, interactive solutions (augmented reality), as well as overall campaign management and analytics support.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES / PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Supervise and direct account staff to ensure communications meet budget, and schedules for internal/client approvals, close dates with the media, and or drop fulfillment dates.
• Liaison with clients, primarily at the communications specialist/marketing communications manager level.
• Knowledge and support in cross-channel integrated marketing solutions. Working with media, brand teams, and enterprise to meet client goals and expectations.
• Establish personal credibility and develop sound business relationships with client counterparts.
• Follow quality control and creative approval processes, thereby ensuring programs are executed accurately and meet client objectives.
• Maintain understanding of client media schedules or production schedules and rationale behind them.
• Prepare accurate call reports, communicating in detail progress with clients work, and distribute promptly to client and agency personnel concerned.
• Supervise account staff in servicing the client, obtaining approvals, maintaining the budget. Aid direct reports in gaining understanding of client’s business necessary to fulfill their duties.
• Work with account groups to ensure maintenance of schedules and budgets in production of elements of communication programs.
• Provide overall direction to creative and other staff support functions, supervises development, and assure creative implementation is consistent with approved strategy.
• Execute project management functions through the utilization of project workbooks, suite of project management forms and documentation, as well as Microsoft Project, for program scheduling.
• Review and approve all copy, layouts and proofs for assigned projects prior to presentation. Submit to Manager for approval.
• Responsible for gathering materials for competitive communication review and maintaining strong understanding of the competitive landscape of client’s business.
• Take the leadership role in strategic development of marketing plans to grow the clients' business as well as generate incremental billings and income.
• Work with manager to create an environment where account staff and support groups working on their line of business feel challenged, valued, and feel that they are dealt with in a fair and consistent manner.
• Recommend measures to improve work process methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
• Maintain and support all company standards as specified within the Quality Management System.
• Supports/facilitates the mandatory adherence to ISO9001 requirements, processes and procedures.
• Performs other duties as required.
