Integrated branding and communications agency are looking for a talented midweight designer to join the team. An innovative and award-winning solution focused business they pride themselves on their open and honest culture, forging strong relationships with both clients and employees. As a midweight digital designer you’ll be packed with creative ideas, have strong communication skills and be able to work accurately and efficiently under pressure. The work spans:
Generating first-class concepts, visuals and creative ideas for print, web and multimedia projects, creating work with existing client guidelines, ensuring that all work created is brand compliant, as well as creating new visual brand guidelines.

Specific duties include:
• Taking accurate and detailed briefs from the account team and Creative Director
• Developing engaging and exciting creative ideas for branding, print and digital projects
• Presenting work and articulating creative executions to the design and accounts team
• Creating intelligent and captivating websites
• Challenging clients on their requirements; in doing so, advising on best practice to optimise the effectiveness of their brand communications
• Working accurately under pressure and to tight deadlines, always aware of budgets and time spent
• Working closely with and encouraging junior members of the design team.

Skills required:
• You must be fully Mac OSX literate
• You are fully proficient in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
• You have good knowledge of Office software (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
• A strong understanding of what makes good UI design, composition and usability
• A good understanding of user experience and of information architecture.

Overall, the position holder will:
• Generate first-class concepts, visuals and creative ideas for print, web and multimedia projects
• Create work with existing client guidelines, ensuring that all work created is brand compliant, as well as creating new visual brand guidelines
