Mid-Weight Digital Designer

Based in the European creative studio in North London, the Mid-Weight Digital Designer for E-commerce will support the production of best-in class digital creative content for the 
growing retail brands.

Key Responsibilities: 
 To undertake preparatory and research tasks for the design team to ensure that Senior design team members operate efficiently. 
 Working from a creative brief to utilise their design skills to interpret, create and deliver best in class E-commerce creative.
 Working closely with the Senior Designer to research and create compelling communications and content. 
 To support the team in the creation of engaging, inspiring and on-brand design communications for ‘weekly’: 
- home pages changes (10 content boxes) 
- emails (c.14 per week) 
- category landing pages (c.4 per week) 
- content landing pages (c.1 per week) 
 To support the team in the creation of engaging, inspiring and on-brand design communications for ‘Seasonal’: 
- site wide changes 
- home page 
- category landing pages (c.7 pages) 
static content pages (c.5 pages) 
 To support the team in the creation of engaging, inspiring and on-brand design communications for ‘Campaigns and projects’.
 To innovate with E-commerce design. 
 To constantly look for opportunities for continuous improvement within their day to day creative processes. 
 Support the timely upload of weekly content. 
 To take on-board learnings form the E-commerce Design manager regarding campaign performance and continuously innovate to drive and improve performance. 
 Support the creation and delivery of photographic and content assets to meet the demands of E-commerce.
 Innovate and maintain up to date knowledge of E-commerce, eCRM marketing trends and UX. 

Key Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
 Graduate Design professional with qualifications in Graphic design and or digital design. 
 Strong creative flair and passion for design and communication. 
 A creative thinker and idea generator with a strong creative eye.  
 Some experiences of working within an e-commerce creative team in a large retail business are preferential, but not essential. 
 Demonstrates a Passion and enthusiasm for retail and E-commerce (fashion ideal) 
 Demonstrates an inquisitive mind and the ambition to develop and learn. 
 Can demonstrate examples of work that put the brand and customer at the heart of their design thinking. 
 Ability to create and deliver to tight deadlines. 
 Experience of the end-to- end design process from concept, UI, html and build. (ideal but not essential) 
 Basic understanding and familiarity of HTML and digital web design tools. Word Press, Dreamweaver (ideal but not essential) 
 Great team player with strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence. 
 Numerate. 
 A positive, creative personality. 
 Experience of working with task management tools: Microsoft Word, Excel, Trello, Google Doc’s etc. (ideal but not essential)
