Our interactive design agency client seeks strong UX Interaction Designers to join their team on a long-term (contract to hire, if there is a mutual fit) basis. The team’s Interaction Designers are responsible for creating systems and frameworks to organize information and help users understand how an application will work. To achieve this designers will need to be able to come up with creative solutions that address the user, business, and technical goals.

Top “Slam Dunk” Requirements:
• Strong agency/digital experience with online portfolio.
• Experience providing comprehensive “Service Design” services that considers the individual interaction components in the context of a larger service offering.
• Proficient in a variety of methods to convey ideas and concepts (e.g. user flows, personas, storyboards, wireframes, prototypes, etc.).
• Portfolio/work demonstrates ability to create interaction designs across multiple channels and platforms (including rich websites, web apps, mobile & tablet apps and sites, interactive TV) and to clearly communicate their solutions.
• Work directly with customers and prospects to design end-to-end experiences using participatory and iterative design techniques, including: observational studies customer interviews, usability testing, and other forms of qualitative and quantitative research to uncover insights, learn about user behavior and verify design concepts.
• Be a storyteller: A critical element of this role is to deliver insights about people and behavior - verbally and visually - in a way that generates empathy, emotion, and engagement from the client and design team.
• Working knowledge of design and prototyping tools, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flex, Visio.
• Bachelor degree in a design-related discipline.
