A new opportunity has arisen for a Mid-Senior UX designer to work in a brilliant company that specialise in hospitality and product software to take their outlook of user experience and interaction based products to the next level. They are looking for a designer who is passionate about design and people, thriving off being impressionable and taking a hands on approach to all projects.

Reporting into the Head of Product and working alongside 3 other UI/UX designers, you would be tasked with working on a variety of projects that require you to put the user at the heart of business when taking a mobile first approach. Making the user journey a simpler and more efficient one for clients and customers should stimulate you and you should have expert knowledge in leading workshops, conducting usability tests, brilliant UX research and redefining the whole user experience.

As this is a very hand on role, you should thrive in working on a variety of different projects that take incredible attention to detail and collaboration with team members. You should be fascinated by all things UX and User Centred design as well as being comfortable explaining the functionality of products and why you feel they’d be great for the team.

By taking a mobile first approach, you should be able to understand the functionality that goes into making life easier for consumers and clients to navigate their way through the website on different platforms.

All in all, it’s about making the simplest process beautiful and easy for people to navigate across.

Must haves

. Strong Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
. Great understanding of Responsive design (preferably mobile first)
. Extensive hands on experience from an agency or in house background
. A strong UX portfolio, which highlights process and efficiency throughout
. An Understanding of HTML and CSS
. Functionality of products and how to make design both beautiful and simpler
