Mid-Senior Information Architect

Are you looking to join a team and be a part of designing mobile Apps from the ground up? Are you a hands-on person and love being a part of the entire process? If so, we have a great opportunity for you! Our client is looking for a talented Information Architect to join their team on a contract to hire basis.

In this role you will be the primary IA for the our clients Customer Experience Platform, helping them realize their vision for mobile Apps that allow all customers to interact with their favorite venues (restaurants, hotels, bars and retail locations) in real-time directly from their smartphones and tablets. You will be responsible for the design of mobile apps from start to finish and have direct input with Product Management and Development to shape creative, high quality, engaging mobile experiences. This is a unique opportunity to come in early.

Specific responsibilities include:
Contribute to compelling, usable, and desirable user experiences and interfaces for a variety of new mobile apps and web applications
Follow a user-centered approach by considering market analysis and customer feedback working with business and engineering teams
Lead the end-to-end Mobile UX design process by creating key design deliverables appropriate for each app. These may include: developing scenarios, workflows, conceptual diagrams, information architecture, interaction flow, wireframes, and click-through prototypes, as needed.

Qualifications/ Requirements:
Degree in design, user experience or equivalent professional experience
An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating a range of artifacts developed in creating a variety of great user-centered design solutions and mobile experiences, is a requirement for application
Fluency in best practices for mobile and web-based information architecture and responsive design, as well as deep and broad knowledge of usability principles and techniques
Demonstrated fluency in best practices for high-volume mobile user experiences and responsive design, as well as deep and broad knowledge of usability principles and techniques
Excellent customer experience intuition; demonstrated success in creating innovative and user-friendly mobile apps, websites, and/or business software
