Salary - £40K-£50K | £240-£250 pd

Our client are a top name within the travel sector and facilitate holiday homes rental around the world. They are looking for an experienced Mid-Senior Designer to join them on site in their London office and work across online marketing collateral and creative.


Role Description

Our client are looking for a Mid-Senior Designer to join their London office and take up a position in their current Design Team. This role will be working in the close-knit team across mainly digital collateral, including emails, website updates and social media posts. As a more senior member of the team, it will be your responsibility to guide more junior members and have a hand in the look and feel of design executions.

The majority of work will be digital, so the chosen candidate must have an excellent knowledge of digital design executions, from emails to social media campaigns and banners. A good understanding of HTML/CSS will be highly beneficial when liaising with Developers and knowing the limitations of creative ideas. A mixed skill set would also be beneficial, as our client like to trial various executions and having on site Designers that are capable of things like animation is always advantageous.


Skills & Experience

Our client are looking for an experienced Designer with previous experience either in an in-house design studio or agency producing top end work for well known brands and clients. A digital native that is on top of the latest design trends and styles. Our client are in need of a mid-senior individual that is capable of stepping up and taking responsibility for design elements leading the studio and mentoring junior members when required. Due to the nature of the client, the ideal candidate will be someone with previous experience in the travel/hospitality sector, but this is not a prerequisite, although a keen interest in travel is essential.


Other skills include:

  • Full knowledge of Adobe CS
  • Excellent knowledge of Sketch
  • Excellent understanding of digital design and it’s limitations
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS​
  • Knowledge of After Effects would be highly beneficial
  • Previous experience of responsive design, covering web, mobile and tablet
  • An excellent team player
  • Previous experience working in a fast paced creative environment.
