Mid-Level to Senior UX Mobile and Responsive Designer

Our health care client is looking Sr. UX Designers with mobile and responsive design experience with proven strengths and results in this area. Join their growing organization on an exciting mission to improve health and well-being for their members, patients and community!
Our client is the largest consumer-governed, nonprofit health care organization in the nation, providing care, coverage, research and education to improve the health of members, patients and the community. This is a 6 month contract.

The Web & New Media team works with internal partners to serve key audiences through our online properties, including healthpartners.com and regionshospital.com.
As a part of this team, the Senior UX Designer supports the understanding of user needs with research, design, information architecture and web design best practices in the creation of web and mobile sites and applications.

Responsibilities:
• Deliver research findings and designs that help facilitate a user-centered design across projects.
• Design wireframes, sitemaps, process flows and other UX deliverables to support design and development.
• Participate in strategic planning, special communications, events, web publications and projects. Work and communicate frequently with internal teams and design firms.
• Work independently under general prioritization and guidance of the UX Design Supervisor and Web & New Media Sr. Manager.
• Contribute to collaborative environment within cross functional agile project teams

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Degree in a design related discipline or Library Sciences, Information Architecture, Human Computer Interaction or immediately relatable work experience.
• Five plus years in a user experience design role, including UX research, user testing and UX advocacy.
• Experience in Omnigraffle, Visio or other wire framing and prototyping tools.
• Excellent written communications skills, including typing, spelling and grammar.
• Excellent verbal communications and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. Strong consultative skills, capable problem solver, ability to build consensus.
• Experience with Agile methodology

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Application design in an enterprise environment.
• Experience in Healthcare
• Working knowledge of graphic design best practices (color theory, brand standards).
• Interactive prototyping experience (Axure, iRise, Balsamiq, etc.).
