Mid-Level Promotional Designer

Our Fortune 500 retail client is seeking a talented Mid-Level Promotional Designer! This is a 3 month contract opportunity that includes Aquent's comprehensive benefits package. The Mid-Level Promotional Designer should have at least 3 years experience comprised of digital eCommerce/promotional work including emails and offer landing pages.

Duties:
- Has a solid understanding of the importance and adherence of brand standards.
- Applies style guide conventions to the page layouts consistently.
- A good eye for layout, hierarchy of content, composition and organizing product groupings.
- Extreme efficiency, organization and attention to detail is a must,
and able to balance several workstreams
- Exhibits accountability and ownership of work
- Is a fast learner and is solution driven.
- Understands and works in Adaptive constructs on both site and email
- Willingness to listen to constructive feedback and make changes
- Be a constant advocate for the user: willing to ask questions of various stakeholders to make sure end work product meets the user's needs
- Excellent interpersonal skills across both creative and business departments with a “glass half-full” approach

Scope of Work:
1. Works within predetermined templates to create landing pages for our weekly offers.
2. Creates weekly promotional emails.
3. Creates affiliate ad units for our weekly promotional campaigns.
4. Will work closely with the team on multiple pieces of the same campaign – ensuring cohesion of all campaign elements
5. Works with merchandising to determine the best product shots to use for each offer.

Qualifications:
· Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design
· 3+ years experience in digital promotional design/eCommerce
· Advanced level skill with Photoshop / Illustrator / InDesign
