Mid-Level Graphic Designer (Advertising)

Our client, the world’s leading independent developer and publisher of interactive entertainment software for mobile, personal computer and advanced entertainment systems, is looking for an experienced MID-LEVEL GRAPHIC DESIGNER to join their dynamic Live Services Department in Los Angeles. As a Graphic Designer, you will work with Senior Designers helping the conceptualization, design and production of mobile acquisition marketing and advertising, and work closely with other team members to deliver marketing solutions for mobile games. The ideal candidate will have a strong advertising portfolio and have some illustration/retouching skills.

Your Primary Responsibilities:
Design and create solutions for mobile acquisition advertising and marketing campaigns by communicating and connecting with mobile consumers, understanding business strategies and objectives and translating them into effective and impactful marketing that drive downloads to our mobile games. This position requires flexibility, imagination, a can-do attitude, a sense of fun, and the desire to learn and grow.
Be able to work within established brand and platform guidelines, and also help set the pace on newer initiatives.
Work closely with Sr. Designers to retouch and refine assets
Assist as needed with other mobile promotions; with platform submission assets for multiple mobile platforms including icons, key art, etc; and production work (this is advertising/marketing, not game design).
Work collaboratively with managers, designers and copywriters within the Creative team. Plus work with cross-department team members to achieve project goals. MUST be a team player.
Be able to absorb and give constructive feedback in a positive manner.

Skills:
4+ years experience as a Graphic Designer.
Solid communication skills - Must be able to communicate ideas both visually and verbally.
Excellent design, typography, and layout skills. Be creative and bring a fresh perspective while working within brand and project guidelines.
Capable of managing multiple projects within tight deadlines.
Self-motivated and able to work independently, with good time management skills and a strong work ethic.
Must be comfortable making changes to work based upon feedback.
Advanced skills in Adobe programs including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, etc).
A diverse portfolio for a variety of platforms is preferred (mobile, iOS, web/interactive, print).
Familiarity with Maya 3D a big plus
Motion, UI/UX, and/or Flash experience is considered a plus but we are NOT looking for a UI/UX designer.
Agency experience is considered a plus.

Education:
College preferred
