Mid-Level Graphic Designer

Vitamin T is looking for a Mid-level Graphic Designer / Team Lead to manage and grow our client's team. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity!

In this role, you will have the responsibility of managing a team of associate and freelance designers to execute custom layout designs for internal and client projects. You will report directly to the Creative and Marketing Directors.
The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for design, along with strong project management and communication skills with a minimum of 3 years on a graphic design team.
Recent agency experience working within a design department with management is required.


Some examples of a daily workflow include:

- Concept and execute both large scale and small scale custom design projects
- Manage the design & layout of projects and assets such as white papers, e-books, infographics, and internal reports with internal associate designers
- Attend weekly meetings to track progress of current and future projects
- Manage freelance designers and budgets for individual projects

Requirements

- 3-5 years in layout design experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, or equivalent
- Experienced in Adobe Creative Suite, must be proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
- Excellent collaboration skills
- Self motivated, with the ability to work independently
- Ability to deliver quality results on a tight deadline
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement strategies
- Possess basic HTML/CSS skills with proficiency for lower level coding projects
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects in various stages required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Effective problem solver and decision maker

Added bonus if you have:

- Experience in video editing
- HTML/CSS experience
- B2B Experience
