My personal favorite Fortune 500 client, who has been named 62nd Best Company to Work For (2008) is seeking a contractor for an exciting new long term contract role (1 year, onsite, NYC) which combines leading the execution of a new Dynamic Merchant (Small Business) Email campaign and supporting the launch of the Middle Market Product e-Newsletter. This exciting role blends execution with strategic thinking.

This candidate will be innovative, passionate, customer-focused, and enjoys looking at the big picture, working in a dynamic environment while collaborating with 100 business partners.

About This Role:
The Merchant Marketing team is continuously identifying ways to connect Merchants with Card Members to drive more business-centric spend. To meet this objective, our client is building on their B2B strategy by developing a new email channel that will deliver added value to both Small Business Card Members and Merchants.

Job Responsibilities:
• This Contractor will interface with internal partners to develop and implement marketing strategies to drive Card member engagement as well as channel-level reporting, communicating the performance to internal partners
• Support internal marketing partners in the execution of creative as well as interact with agencies to create, “refresh” and “test” new creative
• Partner closely with internal stakeholders including other Business Units, Compliance, Legal, Brand, Offer Governance and Technology teams to communicate the vision of E-mail notification strategy and enhancements
• Support Senior Manager with technology based projects to enhance current or create new channel experiences by developing mock ups, creating user stories, and validating testing
• Create monthly performance reports for leadership in multiple business units
• Develop ways to increase and deepen Card Member engagement with the program.

Qualifications
• Advanced Education (4+ years)
• Strong marketing skills with knowledge of marketing processes and campaign execution; prior experience working with creative agencies a plus
• Demonstrated ability to synthesize data into actionable recommendations with strong analytical skills
• Experience with problem solving including the ability to think through all aspects of a situation and generate possible courses of action
• Ideally, the candidate would also have systems expertise in managing CTC, DART, MCR, CGT, and EWT/ERA submissions.
• Strong relationship building skills and flexible team player comfortable with operating in a fast paced, dynamic environment. Superb communication, collaborating and influencing skills to manage large, cross functional projects and sell in ideas to leadership
