Merchandising Supply Manager

The principal focus of the Merchandising Supply Manager will be to interface with the Lodging Partner Systems (LPS) organization to support day-to-day needs of LPS including regular communication of best practices for utilizing merchandising campaigns and tools; generating interest in upcoming campaigns, and delivery of campaign results. Coupled with hands-on delivery of campaign components such as landing page creation and performance monitoring, the Merchandising Supply Manager will ensure that merchandising and supply partners are effectively coupled at all times. The role may include interacting with other lines of business in addition to hotel.

Responsibilities:
Relationship and stakeholder management
• Provides regular and meaningful presentations, performance analysis, education and negotiations with LPS other cross-functional organizations to drive improvements in the quantity and quality of partners participating in hotel campaigns and initiatives.
• Communicates hotel participation and revenue goals through regular stakeholder communications and relationship management.
• Attends and participates in hotel partner events to promote merchandising initiatives and gain deep insight and understanding of hotel partner and front line account management needs.

Campaign and product feature development and delivery
• Delivers, and may participate in the design of, new supply initiatives to drive innovative ways for hoteliers to reach customers across Brand points of sale including coordination of LPS, merchandising, and technology product delivery teams to meet business needs.
Analysis, insight, and opportunity development
• Owns delivery and regular communication of supply partner key metrics.
• Develops and drives sound recommendations and action plans based on data analysis and evaluation of competitive insights and intelligence and wider market trends.
