Merchandising Site Specialist

Long term contract role with Fortune 500 Gaming company!

The Site Merchandising Specialist will execute strategies to increase conversion, drive sales, improve site performance, reduce bounce rate, and transform visitors into repeat customers. This role will serve as a critical contributor to executing both regional and global merchandising initiatives.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Site Merchandising – Flawless execution of product set-ups, price changes, promotions and module refreshes
Store Management - Validation of all site content including messaging, language accuracy, product categorizations, embedded commerce links and tagging
Process Definition – Streamlining processes across cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of merchandising tasks
Global alignment – Partnering with Regional Store Managers to ensure best practices are communicated and executed across locales
Partnership with global store operations team and product development teams to ensure requirements for tasks/initiatives are clearly submitted in time
Optimization of on-site journeys through the purchase funnel with a focus on maximizing conversion
Execution of global programs such as product cross-sells, up-sells and on-site search enhancements
Analysis of store KPIs across revenue, funnel and user metrics - Translation of data into insights
Ongoing competitive audits across gaming and eCommerce sites

Skills:
4-5 years of experience in site management, online sales/marketing or related
Russian language fluency a plus
Familiarity with eCommerce best practices and trends
Understanding of the gaming industry and electronic software download channels
Demonstrated ability of building mutually beneficial relationships with internal & external partners
Appreciation for effective web architecture and user experience strategies
Strong organizational and analytical skills (experience in Google Analytics and/Omniture or similar)
