Merchandising Assistant- Baby Team

This position is responsible for the operation of a department. An individual in this position will be expected to perform additional job related
responsibilities and duties as assigned and/or necessary.

Essential Functions

An individual must be able to successfully perform the essential functions of this position with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Coordinates the setup of company website content and items by working with buyers and the Item Set-Up team to ensure the set-up of new items and to maintain item changes (for example, item numbers, retail price changes, cost price changes); working with copywriters and suppliers to manage content acquisition; overseeing the quality assurance process for items placed on live site; working with Marketing to ensure circular proofs are set up correctly; running daily reports for publishing; tracking samples coming in and going out to supplier; and working with cross-functional teams to ensure items go live in a timely manner.

Tracks and reports company site performance by monitoring reviews and ratings feedback; submitting critical tickets for system or data repairs;running reports to ensure accurate end dates; running reports for drop shipment items; and distributing out of stock reports to suppliers.

Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.

Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans; using the Open Door Policy; and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices.

Demonstrates up-to-date expertise in Merchandising and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales.
