A major Fortune 500 Retailer is looking for a Merchandising Assistant to join their team!

This person will:
- Coordinate daily and seasonal activities and support men’s, women’s and accessories merchandising for international Franchise stores.
- Act as key liaison with all cross-functional business partners.

Responsibilities:
• Own Merchandising calendar management, updating milestones and book dates
• Conference room scheduling and photocopies in preparation for team meetings
• Generate weekly style selling reports, recap seasonal top sellers by department/division
• Schedule seasonal hindsight calls with Franchise partners and coordinate team videoconferences
• Monitor daily NA Merchant emails for updates/changes and management of ACT/Sales Operations Change Log/SAM for assigned division(s)
• Recap Franchise store investment in seasonal marketing looks
• Maintain a comprehensive report of fabric content for all divisions styles to be distributed to Franchise buyers
• Publish to Franchise partners updated NA retails on a seasonal basis

Market Execution:
• Support efforts to set-up showroom for seasonal sales events
• Coordinate sample, CAD and swatch needs with production and design
• Photograph and catalog all style photos to be distributed to buying partners
• Support creation of the seasonal market tools for each account including the seasonal flow chart, line list, color palettes, carry over/forward recap, seasonal denim chart and sizing information
• Support merchants in style presentation of line for assigned division to Franchise buyers
• Support Planning in running OTB reports, Order Review Packets sales reports and track to seasonal sales goals
• Assist with market week recaps as needed to identify any opportunities/risks for future seasons

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Computer proficiencies in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook with an aptitude for learning new programs
• Possess effective listening, verbal, and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and planning skills to ensure timely and accurate execution of responsibilities
• Strong ability to identify and execute priorities with a sense of urgency.
• Handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Resourceful with confidence and common sense to access and utilize expert resources when making decisions
• Possess initiative and ability to work independently
• Adapt well to diverse audiences and environment
• Open minded and extremely flexible working mindset/character
• Have a pro-active approach to responsibilities
• Strong communication and relationship/team skills
• Ability to work occasional nights and weekends
• 4 year degree preferred
