Our client is searching for an enthusiastic and creative Merchandiser to help grow our business during peak Holiday season.
The successful candidate will be possess exceptional merchandising sensibility. They will be detail-oriented and organized, capable of handling multiple projects at once, and capable of dealing with ambiguity and rapidly-changing priorities. Candidates must be successful both as individual contributors and in a team environment, and must be obsessed with serving the customer.

The Merchandiser will be responsible for developing and executing merchandising and email outreach campaigns. Additional responsibilities include improving existing merchandising and reporting results of changes.

Candidates should be effective communicators, highly organized, collaborative and adept at learning new tools and systems. Our environment is fast-paced and requires someone who is flexible, detail-oriented, and comfortable working effectively in a deadline-driven work environment.

In this position, candidates will:
• Analyze performance of content, always seeking ways to improve.
• Develop email campaign strategy for new and existing movies and TV catalog.
• Report on merchandising through the use of internal tools.

Basic Qualifications
• 1-3 years experience in online merchandising and/or online marketing
• Ability to analyze data quantitatively and identify data and metrics to back up assumptions, identify opportunities, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs.
• Knowledge of HTML, XML, and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience writing customer-facing content that is on-brand, relevant, and tailored to the internet shopper.
• Ability to execute projects, with strong bias for action and ability to prioritize and meet regular deadlines
• Aptitude for organization
• Experience with both bricks-and-mortar and online retailing
• Understanding and use of web metrics and how to gauge
• XML/HTML skills: no need to hand-code, but you can troubleshoot.
• Comfortable with a varied set of software and editing tools. Ability to learn new tools quickly.
