Membership Marketing Coordinator

Our client, a well respected non-profit and the world's largest scientific society has an immediate long-term contract for a Membership Marketing Coordinator. This contract position would sit in their Washington, DC office. The Marketing Membership Coordinator works with the Membership retention team.
1) Responsible for accurate and timely execution of membership renewals including direct mail, web, and telemarketing efforts. Develops production schedules and ensures that all deadlines are met by in-house staff and outside vendors. Verifies accuracy of membership dues renewal data. Oversees processing of lists to insure quality, act as chief liaison to fulfillment and telemarketing vendors.

2) Participate in efforts to enhance the online member renewal process in order to increase customer satisfaction and the level of use. Oversee daily operation and functioning of the Online Member Renewal (application).

3) Use NetForum and Omniture applications to run timely reports on results for renewal rate, efforts, and tests for mail, telemarketing and email.

4) Oversee creative services and print production of programs. Write copy and/or direct outside copywriters to produce copy for new efforts. Work with graphic designers in creative execution of materials. Bid out printing to obtain best pricing.

5) Forecast mailing quantities for semi-annual and other print runs and ensure that sufficient inventories of printed materials are available to meet multiple renewal production schedules each month.

6) Prepare annual updates to print, email, telemarketing, and web components of multiple renewal series versions incorporating updates and new member benefits and services.

7) Gather data on dropped member and join trends. Produce reports on monthly online surveys, and telemarketing resignation surveys. Work with in-house research team to fine tune surveys, as needed.

8) Log invoices and purchase orders into department log. Assist manager by gathering data for budget preparation.
