Membership Marketing & Engagement Manager

We are seeking a seasoned online marketing professional to expand our membership recruitment and retention efforts. In addition, this position is responsible for the execution of current programs and the development of new multi-platform initiatives that include, but are not limited to, the development and nurturing of membership leads, onboarding and development of new members as well as initiatives designed to deepen member loyalty and engagement.

Preferred candidates will have demonstrable experience in the implementation of creative and innovative membership/marketing campaigns, including tracking, analysis, synthesis and reporting of campaign results.

The candidate should have a successful track record of executing multi-platform programs for an individual membership association. Will also consider similar experience in other organizations.

Candidates must have experience using Pardot, Marketo, or similar, and be able to elaborate on past initiatives using the platform.

Should be experienced working in HTML, list segmentation and the implementation of multiple programs simultaneously. Preferred candidates will have experience working within a professional society.

Reporting to the Membership Director, this person will work closely with ABI staff and volunteer leaders to:
Serve as a key team member to develop and implement new member recruitment, engagement and retention initiatives and strategies

Administer and enhance existing member engagement initiatives

Monitor competitor organizations

Occasional travel to industry shows to promote the organization

Assist in completing other projects as needed in support of our retention and recruitment goals

Requirements for the job include:
B.S. or B.A., and 5+ years of experience demonstrating consistent professional growth and creative thinking
Demonstrable experience running multi-channel marketing campaigns via inbound, email and social media
Experience working and communicating with volunteer leaders
iMIS20, Salesforce or similar experience a plus
Experience with HTML required
Ability to analyze and report on data
Must be flexible and thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
