Medicare Copywriter

Seeking a seasoned, expert health insurance copywriter. The ideal candidate must have a thorough understanding of the Medicare-eligible consumer. They must also be willing to quickly immerse themselves in the products, competitive positioning and member medical management experience and to be able to translate that information into salient talking points that the average consumer will be able to easily absorb.
We are looking for someone that can demonstrate experience in developing clear, concise, action-oriented creative. The copy will need to motivate consumers towards a positive, measurable action that drives brand engagement for both prospects and members. This person will also serve as back-up proofreading support as needed.

The essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Assume ownership of ongoing projects, taking a lead creative role as needed
• Juggle multiple assignments with ease, even under extremely aggressive deadlines
• Execute copy across a variety of deliverables including but not limited to ad hoc marketing campaigns, member communications, newsletters, presentation and training decks, telemarketing scripts, etc.
• Collaborate closely with internal and vendor Art team on creative executions
• Manage legal guidelines and brand/style standard
• Review and proofread work for grammar, style and overall consistency

Qualifications
• B.A. in Communications, English, Journalism, or equivalent experience
• Minimum three (3) years experience as a direct marketing copywriter
• In-depth knowledge of CMS Guidelines
• Writing portfolio that includes print and digital creative
Ability to multi-task, with a strong attention to detail
Medicare, Medicare Advantage, or Medicare Part D experience.
