Media Traffic Coordinator

The Media Traffic Coordinator position is a great introduction to the world of media placement.
The primary focus is to support advertising schedules by coordinating timely delivery of creative materials to the media vendors in several markets.

Top Must have skills:
• Experience at an Ad placement agency
• Experience in Media Management
• Strong proficiency in Excel
• Project planning
• Deadline oriented

Responsibilities Include:
Provide general administrative support to the media team
Enter advertising schedules into traffic database
Ensure all media deadlines are accurately tracked and communicated to creative team
Manage flow of information between field teams, buyer and creative team
Maintain contact information sheets
Request material specifications
Interact with media sales representatives as directed by senior staff
Assist with resolving any scheduling issues

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Advertising or closely related field
Desire to learn about media planning and buying
At least 2 years’ experience in a professional business environment
Strong computer skills with a firm understanding of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Detail oriented with exceptional organizational skills
Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
Effective writing skills
Able to work on deadline and multiple projects at the same time
Excellent time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:
Impeccable customer service with a demonstrated desire to exceed expectations
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence and effectively communicate information to internal and external customers who are both technical and non-technical
Ability to identify and resolve issues independently in a rapidly changing environment; taking initiative in ambiguous circumstances
Robust sense of accountability and sound personal judgment with the capacity to handle confidential information and escalate issues effectively
Proactive, creative thinker with problem-solving ability
