Our Dallas based Fortune 500 company is seeking an experienced Media Relations Program Manager to develop, execute, measure and optimize media relations strategies and programs that align with organizations business objectives and marketing strategies.

Overall responsibilities include:
• Managing media relations programs for a group of product lines in support of the company’s goal to grow its market share.
• Developing and executing global communications programs that support business product lines and drive engagement with key audiences.
• Creating and delivering messages that build preference for organization over the competition and move prospects toward long-term relationships and sales.
• Collaborating with media relations colleagues in other business product lines.

Tactical areas of responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Generating media coverage for new and existing products
• Building editor, blogger and analyst relationships
• Developing product and competitive positioning
• Writing news releases, blog posts and other technical content
• Managing creation of informational graphics to support product communications
• Collaborating with internal video team to create editorial videos
• Driving engagement with customers via social media channels, such as blogs, forums and social networks
• Analyzing results to drive continual improvement
• Managing the business unit’s analyst research budget, including negotiating purchases
