Media Production Manager

A communications agency in the East Bay is searching for a Media Production Manager with 8-10 years of experience managing a team and collaborating with Clients and Account Managers to apply media and technology in solving client communication needs.

This is a contract-to-hire opportunity, sitting onsite in their East Bay office (close to BART!)

Responsibilities:
Manage and mentor all media production staff, providing ongoing feedback and career pathing and development
Manage and oversee a Media Traffic Managers
Conduct bi-monthly one on one meetings, reviews and set goal incentive programs plan
Track internal projects and resources
Direct weekly meetings with Media Department to review job status, concerns, new resources and sharing
Oversee projects in 3 stages with media creative director to ensure quality is maintained and client objectives are being met
Collaborate with Sales and Marketing on proposal strategy and development
Establish procedures for maintaining high standards of service, quality and creativity, throughout the production process
Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing to apply the latest techniques and technologies available in the area of Video, Media and Graphics to Sales and Marketing efforts
Track the budget and profitability of department projects
Create, update and distribute production forms such as contact sheets, production schedules, call sheets, log sheets, release forms, etc.


Skills & Abilities:
Excellent knowledge of and excitement for emerging media and technology
Previous direct management experience
Exceptional leadership, communication and organizational abilities
Resourceful and flexible with strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in an unstructured environment
Comfortable presenting to large and small groups of all levels
